"Order Delay Sorted Out"
Had a bit of a snag with my purchase, but it all worked out in the end, even though it stressed me out for a bit.
I picked up one of the moth cardigans in April. The problem wasn’t about the shipping dates being moved (I’m fine with that since Mochipan always explains what’s up), but rather that my package hadn’t been sent out for weeks after they said all the moth cardigans were shipped. I reached out to their support team, and not long after, my order was finally on its way. From what I gathered on Instagram, it might’ve been some kind of technical hiccup with their order system. I did get a little anxious after reading some reviews from folks who said their stuff never arrived, but mine showed up safe and sound, and pretty fast too!
All in all, I think it was a good buy. Even with this little mess-up, I’ll probably shop with Mochipan again if they drop those mascot designs I’ve been eyeing. I know Rae usually goes for more girly styles, but hey, a person can dream!

"Delivery Timeline Was Way Off"
Mochipan really needs to improve their delivery time predictions. I get that preorders are a different beast, that this is a small operation, and that unexpected stuff like tariffs can mess things up. Still, my experience left me pretty annoyed. I put in an order for a pre-sample moth cardigan back in November, thinking it would show up in January. Instead, it finally landed on my doorstep on July 2. What really got to me, though, was the endless stream of overly hopeful updates. Every couple of weeks, there’d be another message saying the cardigans would be ready soon, but that just wasn’t true. I honestly didn’t mind the wait itself, but the unreliable updates meant I was totally in the dark about when to expect my stuff.
The cardigan is cute and well put together, though it’s a bit thinner than I’d hoped for the price. I also picked up a few other items, and those were all nicely designed too.
I genuinely want Mochipan to do well—I’m all for supporting small businesses. But being able to give realistic timelines is a big deal. I don’t think they were trying to mislead anyone, but after missing the mark a few times, you’d think they’d start giving more cautious estimates. If they’d just told me in January that it’d be July, I’d have been bummed, sure, but at least I wouldn’t have been let down every two weeks for months on end.

"Top-Notch Apparel and Stellar Support"
Finding a shop that offers original, practical outfits is such a treat. When you preorder, you can actually help shape the designs by giving input on Instagram and Discord. The folks running customer support are super quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Every time I get something from here, I’m impressed by how well it fits and how good the craftsmanship is.
"Disappointed to Leave This Review"
Really wish I didn’t have to write this, but here we are. When I first saw the moth cardigan previews, I was instantly hooked. Since I manage a nature center and museum, I knew I had to get one. Unfortunately, I’m giving just one star because my sweater, which I ordered back in February, still hasn’t shown up—and it’s nearly July now. I’m not someone who minds waiting, and I get that delays happen, especially with small businesses. I do appreciate the regular updates about the status of orders. But I’ve got two main gripes that I hope get some attention. First, having several preorders at once is understandable, but as a small operation, there should be a cap. The main reason for the shipping delays always seems to be the high demand for the cardigan I bought, yet there are still a bunch of other preorders open for different items. It feels like you’re biting off more than you can chew, and that’s not sustainable, even if the upfront money is tempting. Second, the latest message I got said my order was delayed again (after several previous delays) because it was placed so long ago and now needs to be processed manually. So basically, I’m being punished for being an early supporter? I appreciate the transparency, but honestly, that’s not something a customer should have to hear. After missing two promised shipping dates, my order should have been prioritized. I really admire your creative vision and the care you put into your designs, but the business side is falling short. It’s fine to keep things limited if it means customers actually get what they paid for. Focusing on your art is great, but taking people’s money and not delivering as promised damages trust. I genuinely hope things improve for both you and your buyers.

"Top-notch products, honest updates, and next-level support"
From start to finish, this company really impresses. I’ve bought several things from them, and while I did run into a snag with one order, here’s how it all went down.
Even though most of their apparel is made from recycled polyester, it always feels super premium and is crazy comfortable to wear. The switch from cotton to recycled polyester isn’t about saving money—it’s all about being eco-friendly. The owner has put out a bunch of videos breaking this down, and she explains it all really clearly. If you’re curious, definitely check those out! Long story short, the material doesn’t feel cheap at all—actually, it’s tough and feels awesome on. The craftsmanship is top-tier 👏
Some folks have complained about the pre-order wait times. Sure, sometimes it takes a while and the dates get pushed, but the company is always upfront about what’s going on with each pre-order. Every two weeks, they send out detailed updates with new timelines and explanations. I don’t mind waiting longer if it means I’m getting what I paid for, especially since they’re so open about delays and what’s causing them. Sometimes it’s the manufacturer’s fault (which they’ve switched before), other times it’s because the product isn’t up to their standards. I’d rather wait than get something rushed. The effort they put into those updates really shows.
I’ve placed a bunch of orders and have two more on the way. With that many purchases, it was only a matter of time before I needed help with something. There were a lot of moving parts and it was a bit stressful for both sides, with some things out of anyone’s control. Communication hiccups happened, too. But what really matters is how a company handles problems, and these folks went above and beyond—even though it was only my second order. They gave me several options to fix things, and every solution they offered left me more than satisfied. They really took the time to help me out. Even when they were on a break and a new issue popped up, the team (and the owner!) jumped in and sorted it out right away. That’s rare. What could have been a nightmare was handled so well that I’m now a loyal customer for life.
They genuinely care about the people who buy from them. It’s not just good service—they actually give a damn. For example, with the "OG Moth Cardigan," after it was ready to ship, they noticed a tiny color difference from the original design. It was barely noticeable, but instead of ignoring it, they made a new batch to match the reference exactly. They let customers pick: get the original version now, or wait for the corrected one at no extra cost. That’s real dedication—they didn’t have to do any of that, but they wanted us to be happy, even if it meant more work for them.
The quality, the transparency with pre-orders, the way they handle customer issues, and the genuine care for their buyers are the big reasons I’m obsessed with this brand. There’s even more I could say, but this is already getting long 😅. The prices are up there, but you get what you pay for. The wait can be long, but it’s worth it. Any problems are handled with real care. This is hands down my favorite brand. 🫶💕💕💕

"Still Waiting While New Products Drop"
Sorry, but I can't rate this shop any higher. My emails, comments, and messages about the garden overalls have all been ignored, and not even the Discord mods can tell me when they'll ship. Meanwhile, they're already restocking the item before even sending out the first orders, which makes me feel like existing customers just don't matter. If this doesn't get sorted out soon, I'm planning to dispute the charge with my credit card and won't be buying from or supporting Rae again. Bumping this down to one star because Rae posted about giving another design a shot after people already paid, basically admitting there were never any samples for this item and that she took money from multiple buyers without delivering. That's just shady. From now on, I'm supporting Nyahallo instead—she doesn't pressure her followers to change reviews or use her platform to mislead and take money from people, unlike Rae.
Update: They actually tried to have my review removed—I even got an email about it. 💀😂. It's wild how far you'll go to hassle your own customers over honest feedback. Time to grow up, Rae.

"Curious Shopper's Experience"
I wanted to pick up a Pumpkin Patch Pinafore, a couple of cardigans, and a swimsuit for my 12-year-old niece, so I reached out to the 'Chat With Us' feature on the site. Turns out, it was just a chatbot—no real people—and it told me I wasn’t allowed to buy those items together, apparently due to store policy. My niece is turning 13 soon and was really hoping for these clothes as a birthday present. She’s a big fan of Mochipan and their unique styles, and honestly, we haven’t found another brand that matches their quality. I don’t get why a 13-year-old can’t have a swimsuit, a dress, and a cardigan. If there’s a specific reason for this rule, I’d love to know more. My niece was too shy to leave a review herself, so I’m doing it for her.
(Just a note: Thanks for getting back to me, Mochipan, but maybe consider updating your Terms and Conditions to make things clearer.)
XO,
Katie
(P.S. Not actually her aunt—just someone who chatted with the bot and got curious. Planning to remove this review tomorrow, sorry!)
"Absolutely love this indie shop—always a win"
I’ve placed around half a dozen sizable orders from Mochipan so far, and every single time, I’ve been thrilled with my purchases. The artwork is super cute, the materials are reliable, and I get tons of compliments whenever I wear their stuff out and about. It’s become my top pick when I want to feel whimsical, snuggly, and a bit magical.
Some standout pieces for me include the Death’s Head Moth cardigan, items from the Starry-Night line, the mushroom-themed dress, and those cottagecore bodycon dresses. They fit great, are really comfortable, and actually feel nice on—none of that stiff, cheap feeling you sometimes get from other places.
About the fabrics—yeah, there’s a fair bit of polyester, but don’t worry, it’s nothing like that shiny, plasticky material you might expect from fast fashion. I was a little hesitant at first because we all know how bad that can be, but Mochipan’s stuff is the total opposite. Everything I’ve gotten has been soft, weighty, and feels well-made. The way the fabric hangs is lovely, it’s durable, and it never comes off as low quality.
Shipping can be a bit slow at times, especially for preorders, but communication is always on point. Mochipan keeps everyone updated through their blog, Instagram, Patreon, and Discord. I’ve never felt out of the loop, which is something I really value with smaller brands.
One of the best things about Mochipan is how much the community gets to be involved. The owner regularly shares previews, asks for input, and even hosts drawing streams on Discord. It’s awesome to see the behind-the-scenes process and to be part of it. I’m seriously looking forward to the Bakery Collection and the Plague Doctor dress—they both look amazing.
If you’re thinking about buying something, I say go for it! Just be sure to check the shipping timelines and stay up to date with announcements. Mochipan isn’t just another cute clothing store—it’s a thoughtful, independent brand with a fantastic community. I’ll definitely be shopping here again.

"Definitely Worth Waiting For"
Every single thing I’ve picked up from Mochipan has been totally worth the wait. The quality is always top-notch, no matter how many times I order. I’ll keep coming back for more of their fun and quirky clothes, that’s for sure.

"Big Fan of Mochipan"
Mochipan is awesome! Their outfits are well-crafted and have a playful vibe. Sometimes, they offer pre-sample pre-orders, which means you might be waiting a bit, but honestly, that’s part of the excitement. It’s cool to follow along and see how the pieces are made and what goes into bringing them to life. If you’re signed up for their newsletter, you’ll get regular email updates about your pre-orders every week. You can also catch these updates on their blog. I end up wearing my Mochipan stuff at least three times a week, and people always notice and say something nice when I do.

"Fast delivery and helpful support team"
Placed an order for four items during the April tariff event, and everything showed up right when expected. Only ran into a minor problem with the pockets on one piece, but the rest fit really well and felt super comfy! The fabric on all the stuff I got is really soft, which I totally appreciate.
Picked up a peach-themed cardigan, sleeveless top, a big cozy sweater, and a roomy knit dress. All were in 2XL, except the cardigan, which I grabbed in 3XL. When I first opened the package, I thought the clothes might be too roomy—maybe I should’ve sized down. I usually go for 2XL, and was a bit nervous the oversized styles would be way too baggy. But after trying them on, turns out they fit just right.
Like I said, the only hiccup was the pocket issue on the dress. I hopped into their Discord to ask about fixing it, and the team was quick to help out. Even if it doesn’t get sorted, I’m still a big fan of the dress! Can’t wait for chillier weather so I can wear it all the time.

"Still Waiting for My Purchase"
Stay away from this business—my kid placed an order back in November 2024 and we’re still empty-handed. They’re quick to grab your cash, but your stuff? Nowhere to be found. All I’ve gotten are a bunch of lame excuses that aren’t even worth your time. Seriously, I have no clue how they’re allowed to keep doing this. If you do risk it, at least pay with PayPal so you’ve got someone in your corner!
"Great Experience with Mochipan Orders"
I picked up a dress, shrug, sweater, and jumperskirt from Mochipan, and every piece was awesome—fit well and looked fantastic. Everything showed up when it was supposed to, and if there was going to be a holdup, they let me know ahead of time so I wasn’t left guessing. I’m excited to see what new styles they come up with, and I’ll for sure be buying from them again. Honestly, this brand is a solid choice for your wardrobe and wallet.

"Top-Notch Support Experience!"
Picked up a few items from Mochipan and the staff really went above and beyond! Ended up choosing the wrong size cardigan, so I reached out to see if I could swap it. The live chat didn’t get back to me, so I shot them an email instead. Max from their support team got back to me super fast—like, within an hour—and sorted out my order right away. Gotta give a shoutout to the folks running their Discord too; they’re always quick to answer any questions or help out with issues about my orders. For a small crew dealing with so many customers, their quick replies and helpfulness are honestly impressive. Big thanks for the stellar service!
